Kaitlin Kozora

Kaitlin Kozora is a Senior Managing Director in Changing Our World’s nonprofit practice, specializing in fundraising and strategic planning. Known for her thoughtful and detail-oriented approach, Kaitlin customizes strategies to address each client’s unique needs and drive impactful results.    

Kaitlin has a track record of leading high-impact initiatives, including a partnership with the United Nations World Food Program, a 2020 Nobel Peace Prize recipient. Since joining the firm in 2019, Kaitlin has led dozens of engagements with organizations ranging from Fountain House, a New York-based nonprofit supporting individuals with mental illness, to African Parks, a conservation organization rehabilitating protected land in Africa. Her contributions range from providing strategic counsel during staff transitions and guiding the adoption of new CRM systems to designing campaign strategies for a first-ever multi-billion-dollar efforts.  

Prior to joining Changing Our World, Kaitlin was Director of Development for Student Sponsor Partners, where she secured $8M annually for scholarships for students from low-income communities and led record-breaking special event campaigns. She also served as Managing Director of External Engagement for Citizen Schools New York, managing regional fundraising and communication efforts while reconfiguring and expanding the board and development team. Prior to her work in education fundraising, she was a Corporate Relations Officer for New York Cares, overseeing a portfolio of top corporate accounts for the city’s largest volunteer mobilization network.   

Kaitlin began her fundraising career at the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society in Alexandria, VA, and holds a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Maryland. She is a member of the President’s Council for the Children’s Scholarship Fund, an organization that provides scholarships to children from low-income families. Kaitlin resides in the Washington DC Area with her husband, Matt, and their dog, Finnegan.
