Deborah Ryan

Deborah Ryan is a Senior Managing Director in the fundraising division at Changing Our World. Deborah works with her clients to provide comprehensive strategies and solutions to meet and exceed their fundraising goals. With over 20 years of experience as a nonprofit fundraiser and executive, she brings strategic and practical knowledge of all areas of fundraising and management.

Since joining Changing Our World in 2017, Deborah has worked with clients in education, healthcare, arts and culture, and associations. Engagements range from campaign planning, oversite, and implementation; feasibility and planning studies; board development and training and fundraising planning and implementation. Clients include SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children’s Foundation, Children’s Healthcare of Orange County (CHOC), Summit Country Day School, Gallaudet University, Girl Scouts of Greater Atlanta, National Center for Race Amity, and National Military Family Association.

Before joining Changing Our World, Deborah worked as a consultant serving Atlanta clients. Before becoming a consultant, Deborah served in fundraising roles and executive leadership at several Atlanta-based nonprofits and institutions, including the Atlanta Women’s Foundation, the Atlanta History Center, Georgia Conservancy, AID Atlanta, Oglethorpe University, and the Atlanta Contemporary Art Center. A resident of Atlanta, Deborah has a B.A. in history from Auburn University.
