Mary Doorley Simboski, ACFRE

Mary is a leader in the nonprofit sector, educator, and frequent national speaker on philanthropy and ethics, and brings more than 35 years in development to her role.  Throughout her impressive career, she has provided strategic direction to faith based, human service, and cultural institutions throughout the nation.  Dedicated to advancing philanthropy as a profession, she has been on Boston University’s faculty of fundraising management and arts administration for more than a decade.  She also serves on the international Association of Fundraising Professional’s Advanced Certification review board.

Mary has served in fundraising leadership roles in secular and faith based institutions, including the American Red Cross, Boy Scouts of America, and cultural organizations.  She has served in development leadership roles at the Archdiocese of Boston, Reach Out and Read, Care Dimensions, and the National Leadership Roundtable on Church Management.

Mary earned a BA at the Catholic University of America and an MS in Management from Regis College.  She is a volunteer for Massachusetts Audubon.  She resides in Lynnfield, Massachusetts.
