Alaina Tassinari

Alaina Tassinari has spent the last 15 years supporting the growth and success of local, national, and international nonprofit organizations across multiple sectors.

Alaina recently led a $200-million, 5-year comprehensive campaign for The Trustees of Reservations, bringing in $216M against an initial goal of $96M. In this role she managed the activities of 25 fundraisers, staffed four CEOs, and rebuilt a development operations and prospecting system for the organization.

Prior to The Trustees, Alaina managed mass-market fundraising for Americares, a global health organization. In her first year of program oversight, she doubled the file size from 60K to 120K donors, and grew unrestricted revenue from $7.5M to $14M. She also grew restricted donor retention by 50% during her tenure.

Alaina has also held roles as Associate Director of Development for Americares, as a Major Gifts Officer for YouthBuild USA, and as an Enterprise Solutions Consultant for Blackbaud, where she worked with high profile higher-ed, religion, and healthcare clients to implement new fundraising systems. She has served on the Boards of multiple community organizations, and is an active volunteer for numerous civil and community nonprofits.

Alaina graduated Suffolk University with a BSJ in Public Relations. She lives in Boston with her husband, Nick, and their Jack Russel Terrier, Mia.
