Alaina Tassinari is a Consultant at Changing Our World, where she works with nonprofit to secure the resources they need to fulfil their missions and sustain long-term growth. She has partnered with clients including Emmanuel College, Cardinal Hayes High School, BOLD, and GLSEN. With over 15 years of experience, Alaina has supported nonprofits across sectors, enabling them to achieve meaningful impact on both a local and global scale.
Most recently, Alaine led a $200-million, 5-year comprehensive campaign for The Trustees of Reservations, exceeding the initial goal of $96M by raising $216M. In this role she managed the activities of 25 fundraisers, staffed four CEOs, and rebuilt the organization’s development operations and prospecting system.
Prior to The Trustees, Alaina managed mass-market fundraising for Americares, a global health and development organization. In her first year of program oversight, she doubled the donor base from 60,000 to 120,000 and grew unrestricted revenue from $7.5M to $14M, while increasing restricted donor retention by 50%.
Alaina has also held roles as Associate Director of Development at Americares, Major Gifts Officer for YouthBuild USA, and Enterprise Solutions Consultant for Blackbaud, where she worked with high- profile clients in higher education, religion, and healthcare to implement new fundraising systems. She has served on the Boards of multiple community organizations, and is an active volunteer for numerous civic and community nonprofits.
Alaina holds a BSJ in Public Relations from Suffolk University. She resides in Boston with her husband, Nick, and their Jack Russel Terrier, Mia.
