BACKGROUND
Cordaid is one of the largest international development organizations in the world, with a network of partner organizations in Africa, Asia and Latin America. With its headquarters in The Hague, Cordaid is evolving into a global social enterprise focused on sustainable reduction in structural poverty.
CHALLENGE
Changing Our World partnered with Cordaid to conduct a comprehensive planning study to assess the organization’s philanthropic opportunities in the U.S. market, develop a detailed program map of global peers, and assess its internal operational capacity to engage in private resource mobilization in the U.S.
SOLUTION
The study culminated in Changing Our World conducting a presentation at Cordaid headquarters which covered the supply and demand of resources and the implications for Cordaid, as well as interactive workshops to develop skills and tools for identifying, cultivating and stewarding both institutional and individuals donors.
